I just got a big 1Mb Word file which came as base64 text within the message of
an e-mail instead of an attached file.
Your decoder did the job perfectly and instantly...

In Java, there's the proprietary class Base64Encoder that does the job. Sun doesn't
want this class to be used because it doesn't belong to standard Java, but it works
fine.
